Ha expuesto también en Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro, Vitoria (ES) y Granada.<br />Autodidacta, adaptado a la luz y brillo del clima tropical después de cinco lustros en aquellas latitudes, se advierte en el artista, sin embargo, la profunda influencia de la tierra andaluza, no sólo por la temática –en este caso el flamenco-, sino por la frescura, el colorido y la expresividad de sus telas. Carlos Carretero cuando pinta no pretende fotografiar lo que ve, ni intenta impresiones o experimentos. Lo que plasma en sus cuadros son transposiciones de sus emociones vividas o sentidas creando contrastes al definir las líneas y trabar masas planas con pinceladas fuertes e impulsivas y absoluto dominio de los colores.<br />La animación de las figuras y el vigor y elegancia de las formas y gestos, unidos al juego de intensidades, da como resultado la impresionante fuerza de sus cuadros.<br />S nombre nos trae el recuerdo de su padre Angel Carretero, que estudió en París con Bacarisse, donde entró en contacto con el cubismo. Às vezes na vibração das cores; às vezes com o aspecto sombrio dos momentos dramáticos, situação mais comum de toda a historia espanhola.<br />Outra qualidade do pintor constante em Carlos Carretero, como bom espanhol é o virtuosismo da técnica nas pinceladas impulsivas e enérgicas, seguras e expressivas.<br /><br /><br />Mari’Stela Trstão<br />Critica de arte – Estado de Minas<br />1988<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/6368616169172967871-8725035341498171895?l=carloscarretero.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Carlos Carreterohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14733358700784080182noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6368616169172967871.post-80645458405750683582009-01-11T19:20:00.001-02:002011-06-10T18:08:51.092-03:00LAS ARTES<br />Los paisajes de Carlos Carretero<br /><br />Después de haber estudiado en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Granada, Carlos Carretero, que ya había respirado desde niño los olores de la “cocina artística” en su propia casa, siguió estudios en el Circulo Artístico de San Lucas, de Barcelona, trasladándose luego a Brasil, desde donde vuelve a Granada con una colección de paisajes, expuestos en la Caja Provincial de Ahorros que demuestran una muy personal interpretación del género.<br />Carlos Carretero ha querido volver a las fuentes de nuestra geografía, habiéndose atraído de modo particular la silueta ondulante de los montes granadinos vestidos de agricultura y sol.<br />Aunque el retrato paisajístico sea fiel a al fisonomía real de la Naturaleza, el pintor no queda esclavo de la imagen vista, sino que representa algo más, fruto de su propia asimilación formal: hay en el cuadro un dinamismo de líneas y una arquitectura compositiva que no son hijas del objeto, sino de la manera en que el pintor lo mira.<br />Carlos Carretero prescinde totalmente del cielo, al tomar un punto de vista muy alto “vista de pájaro” que convierte el lienzo en un plano-mosaico donde las masas silueteadas de grano o de barbecho dialogan con los olivos o las encinas solitarias. Hay una fascinación por las líneas definidoras de las estructuras dinámica del cuadro, que vienen dadas por las lindes del campo o las hileras de árboles. Curiosamente los fondos de Carlos Carretero no son anteriores a los primeros planos, sino que recortan en última instancia (como remates de la obra) precisamente el volumen de esos árboles: ello da una trabazón de masas planas sin perspectiva aérea, que terminan en verdadera abstracción pictórica aunque se trate de un paisaje concreto.<br />Otro capítulo importante de su modo de hacer lo constituye el color: Carlos Carretero sigue también en esto la pauta de la Naturaleza que representa, pero su objetivo no es fotográfico, sino creador de contrastes. De ahí que una colección dominada en gran proporción por tonos ocres y gamas neutras, resulte una verdadera fiesta cromática; en el contraste de los límites, la distribución de las intensidades y el sabio juego de complementarlos lo que potencia el color, convirtiendo un tono insulso y apagado en luz brillante perfectamente encajada dentro del conjunto.
